Milton Friedman Quotes:

"The most important single central fact about a free market is that no exchange takes place unless both parties benefit."

"Nobody spends somebody else's money as carefully as he spends his own. Nobody uses somebody else's resources as carefully as he uses his own. So if you want efficiency and effectiveness, if you want knowledge to be properly utilized, you have to do it through the means of private property."

"Governments never learn. Only people learn."

"So the question is, do corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, have responsibilities in their business activities other than to make as much money for their stockholders as possible? And my answer to that is, no they do not"

"The only way that has ever been discovered to have a lot of people cooperate together voluntarily is through the free market. And that's why it's so essential to preserving individual freedom."

"Most economic fallacies derive - from the tendency to assume that there is a fixed pie, that one party can gain only at the expense of another."

"Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself."

"What kind of society isn't structured on greed? The problem of social organization is how to set up an arrangement under which greed will do the least harm; capitalism is that kind of a system"

"History suggests that capitalism is a necessary condition for political freedom. Clearly it is not a sufficient condition."

"The society that puts equality before freedom will end up with neither. The society that puts freedom before equality will end up with a great measure of both."

Dear all,

I was told English compare their most beautiful females to the "spring", while Mongolians compare their easily convertible ones to the "spring". Meaning Mongolian spring is truly unreliable. So, everybody stay warm and cool in these changeable days!

You see, translation is not a easy game.

Poem written by a one dying of a broken heart

As lonely walking through the street, my melancholy is shading in my thought
My depressed heart is being chilled by severe cold
Feel as if melting snow is getting seperated from me as weeping regretfully.
Wind breezing sometime is being heard like yell to me as well
Feel as if the reddening sun, going down, is gleaming with blood colour.
Feel as if my heart, invaded by sadness, has received flood of tears
Woman, when I think the world of you with stars keeping me company
The world seems to perished in my mind since you are away.
The music: Hear me cry by Utada Hikaru

My fatherland Mongolia, one of the ancient nations in north eastern Asia, faced the twenty first century, beginning after Jesus Christ perished in Holy land, seven years ago. As a descendent of Mongol nomads, willing to sacrifice their lives to preserve our independence, in whose vein runs the blood of them, I wish Mongolia long live.
I often fear for Mongolian culture vaccinating Mongolian independence. That all human beings including the Mongols live in global village is clear. Consequently, some nations lacking ability to protect their national culture are under domain of the powers’ culture intervention and being assimilated into their cultures. They say that mother tongue is equivalent to a citadel protecting security of a nation’s culture. Now we all see that our Mongolian language is losing its position within slang and documents to foreign languages day by day.
Have you ever heard about the Scythians? The Scythians, only a small number of historians know in modern world, were great nation having Aristotle, a brilliant philosopher, made admire in the past. I don’t want Mongolia that have same destination as the Scythians had. What should we do to make our Mongolia up? I welcome you all to this discussion.
